What better ways to celebrate the coming of Autumn than music, a bunch of cake, and a road trip? That's what we thought too. Ji and I are about to head out on our 3rd tour of the western U.S., but before we go, we've got two wonderful events to announce! 1 - a special show, and 2 - another glorious Cake Walk! Hoorah!

The Luna Music Series Estrada Project is a women's music series/ongoing benefit that takes place at 7pm on the last friday of every month. It is held at In Other Words Bookstore, a non-profit women's books and resource center run by over 50 volunteers. There are two to three acts at each event.

Due to the sugar-crazed hi jinx of last year's Cakewalk, this years celebration of baked and frosted delectables shall be a chin-up affair policed by 3 most rigorous of strictures:
1) In accordance with Bylaw 17, section 3a., paragraph 5 of "Cakewalk Rules, Regulations, and Other Frivolous Pursuits", there shall be no "hip-checking" between participants in order to procure spaces containing winning numbers.
2) Adults "tossing" children outside the bounds of the Cakewalk "arena" will be viewed as behaving with "Un-sportsman like conduct." The tossing of children is therefore strictly forbidden.
3) Capitol gifts, or gifts of an otherwise "scandalous" nature, including but not limited to Jewelery, Property Deeds, and Gift Certificates to Day Spas, while substantially benefiting certain unnamed parties, are hereby disallowed. Sorry Mom..."Pay-ola" equals "Cake-ola".
Join us! Place a bid or donate a cake to benefit Rebecca & Ji as they depart on their 3rd musical tour through Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, and California. This special evening will consist of Live Music, a silent auction of fabulous cakes, and of course...the Cakewalk!
